Growing up till when I had my baby

Olumide had always been a big brother to my brother and me. As kids, we were always happy to visit Olumide, Yinka, and Adeoluwa in the quarters. Olumide made sure we were well taken care of; he cooked for us and checked to see if we were satisfied.

During my admission process to university, my primary choice was Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), but unfortunately, I did not gain admission there. We went on a visit, as was customary, and my mum informed Olumide that I had not been accepted into OAU and that I would be attending Osun State University (UNIOSUN) instead. I remember he scolded me with a smile because he didn't have a favorable opinion of that school.

I had a party in the quarters, and it was difficult for me to attend since I was coming from town and everyone else was busy. My mum reassured me that it wouldn't be a problem because Olumide was around. She called him, and he told me he would drop me off at the venue. When he came to pick me up, he made fun of my hair😂 that ever since he had known me, my hair had never grown past the level he has always known. We listened to a song all through the trip and it was repeat, he made me know all the lyrics to the song till date “Post to be” by Omarion, Chris Brown, Jene Aiko, Olumide made me love the song till date.

2022, when i had medical attention, my bro told me to tell Olumide about it and it would be sorted and i was like that’s too much but he made to see his doctor friend and i got the medical advice i needed. 2023, i was pregnant with my child and i was admitted several times, he got to know about it, he contacted me and i was surprised and when i gave birth he sent a gift to my baby. During Yinka’s wedding, he saw my child and still gave her money, she collected it from him. I have so much to write, it all had been good memories of you.

our egbon keep resting❤️❤️
